Can Amazon put restriction by changing sub category?

If listing is working fine from 2 years and then if we change sub category then can amazon put any restriction on it?

  There is a chance if you have selected such sub-category for which approval is required then Amazon may put restrictions

  If we are changing our category like from home and kitchen we move to the electronic category then you need permission from amazon through SDS.

  Amazon may put restrictions on your purchase if you selected such a sub-category that requires approval

  As you know that some products have more than one category, changing the sub-category of that product will not result in any restrictions from Amazon. But if you totally change the category of the product because it is irrelevant to your product, then Amazon will put restrictions on your listing.

  If you change the sub – category after some time and if that category needs any documentation or requirement then it will definitely restrict your category and them may you will have to get the approval first.

  Amazon will only put restriction on the listing if you change the sub category which required any approval, otherwise you can do this.
