Can someone let me know how Amazon verifies product documents? Like if we provide a test report from a laboratory will Amazon contact the laboratory or will check from the laboratory website?

Practically it will become a lengthy procedure if Amazon checks and verifies document, they rely on the document provided and sometimes check it for editing etc, but they do not verify any test report

Yes, mostly they do not contact the lab but check the authenticity of the reports

Well Mr. Riz!! First of all you are right but according to me Amazon doesn’t have time to contact the lab or check the report on the lab website because I think it is a long process which you should document instead of going to a long process.

There are times when they do not contact the lab, but rather check the authenticity of the report.

well, most of the time they just go through the lab test report by checking the authenticity of the report by contacting the concerned authority who tested the product.

Amazon authorized the documentation when its related to the product which mentioned all the protection cautions about the product and in some cases that documentation should have stamp of the manufacturing company.

Most of the time Amazon confirms our documents from the laboratory website but if Amazon finds anything suspicious, they can contact the laboratory for verification of documents.

Most of the time, they simply read the lab test report while verifying its accuracy.

Yes, they frequently verify the veracity of the reports rather than contacting the lab.

Amazon has a specific process for verifying product documents submitted by sellers, which may vary depending on the type of document and the product category. Generally, Amazon will review the documents provided by the seller to determine if they meet the relevant product safety or regulatory requirements.
