If a Keyword in an Amazon PPC campaign has impressions but no sales or spend – is that at least good that it is getting impressions? Is it worth to keep the keyword delivering just for the sake of maybe getting a few impressions?

It depends upon your targeting strategy if the keyword is relevant and your aim is brand awareness. You should keep running the keywords and if the keywords are irrelevant then there is no use to run an advertisement on that keyword.

I suggest you should change the targeting type of that keyword, try to trarget in exact match with suggested biding if the suggested bidiing is controlable.

If it is getting impressions only assuming no clicks as well, then check if the volume of that keyword is good enough or not, if it is good then may increase the bid to receive some clicks or maybe target in other match types as suggested by Madison, that way you can evaluate if it is worth keeping or not.

Well Stella!! If your targeted keyword only has impressions and not clicks spend like this then according to me your keyword bids are not close to recommended so it’s only impression you can try to increase the bid then you can see the results.

Just getting impressions and not getting clicks and sales are not good because you didn’t target your relevant target so change it.
-
It depends on your strategy, if the keyword you are talking about is the main keyword or a much more relevant keyword then you should keep on increasing the bids until the impressions converted to clicks.

Your impressions are not good if you don’t get clicks or sales since your target was not relevant.
