Tracking id is not added? what is the effect of not adding the tracking id ?

    I have created the shipment and I just forget to add the tracking id ? what will be the affect of not adding the tracking id’s? Does it affect my shipment ?

      No, it does not affect Amazon will receive your shipment.

      They won’t be able you track the shipment neither will you but as you have applied the labels on the boxes Amazon will accept the shipment once reached at the warehouse.

      If you add tracking amazon will show the current status of each box from time to time on seller central. If you do not add tracking still receive your stock without any inconvenience.

      Previously there was a option to mark as shipped, if you are sending inventory through non-partnered carriers and not providing tracking ID’s. But now according to the new updates Amazon has removed mark as shipped and tracking I’d is must for non-partnered carriers.

      The purpose of tracking id is to track your shipment and currently where’s your stock. I will not affect and Amazon accepts your shipment without tracking IDs.

      If you do not add tracking ids, Amazon will receive your shipment but the status will not be updated and if the shipment is closed, it might be showing that there are errors with shipments.
