  There are two steps in the authentication process for Amazon seller accounts. You must first respond to a series of inquiries (through an online form) about your company and yourself (or whoever the main contact for the business will be). Second, you have to present evidence that you are who you claim you are. and sometimes amazon does the video call for verification.
